Our first jobs
were at grocery stores: checking, pricing, and doing
whatever it took to keep customers happy. CDS Owner
and Creative Director, Richard Graap, was assistant
manager at a Thriftway store in a suburb of Portland,
Oregon.
We understand
retail first-hand. Budgets are tight, design needs to
be strong, and there is no time for handholding. That's
why Rick started the business fifteen years ago out
of his garage. He knew he could deliver what retailers
needed.
Today, located
in a 45,000 square-foot facility in Tualatin, Oregon,
CDS is a respected name in store design and décor. Our
client list and portfolio includes projects from seven
Western states. CDS provides strategic planning, design,
manufacturing, and installation. We can do one part
of the project or handle the entire scope. We are flexible
to meet your needs.
Working at CDS is like a second home to its 70 employees,
many of whom have been with CDS from
the
beginning. Rick is joined in managing the company by
co-owner Terry Bottemiller, Senior Account Representative.
